The 1st week

We wre just hangin out Cohen's 1st week. I think he had fun.

Cohen James Betz

Cohen was born @ 8:17 on August 29th. He was 20 3/4" and weighed 6 lbs. 14 oz.

He is a healthy boy. Megan is doing great and so is Cohen.

We are still looking at the spelling of his name.

Potter/Betz Wedding

Hello Family!

I hope life is treating all of you wonderfully! Alex and I just want to inform you about our latest wedding planning news. We decided to move our wedding date back to October 10th 2009 (about 4:30 in the afternoon). The wedding and reception will be at the Ferdinand Forest under a giant tent. Please start praying for perfect weather that day!
We look forward to seeing you during July 4th weekend. We'll have lot to celebrate!

Male or Female?

Hey Gang
Well we had an ultra sound today to check on our baby.
We found out its healthy and on going to be a male.
The nurse showed us 3 different times so we a positive it is a boy.
The baby and Megans health is good and we are very exicted.
Talk to everyone soon.

Going Great

Spring is almost here and we are doing wonderful.
Last weekend attended CRHP at St. Simon and had a great time.
She said that one of the best things that she did was reading the letters from friends and family.
Her surgery on Monday went very well, and recovery is getting quicker every day.
We were able to hear the babies heartbeat everyday at the hospital. Our baby is still a healthy one. Thanks for all the prayers.

Hello Family!
It looks like we are getting good use out of this blog.
It's a happy day for Alex and I. Today is our 2 year Anniversary! yay! And of course we aren't able to spend it together. I do believe we will be celebrating it this weekend at home, though. Instead I am spending today with my Microbiology book. I have a 10 chapter bio test tomorrow morning & I'm about to die. However, I was able to mail out my internship applications today. What a relief! They have been staring at me in my room for the past 3 months. Now I wait until April to see if I get accepted. Eek!
Anyways, I hope all is well with all of you. I love and miss you, but we'll see eachother on the 16th!

Hey Family! Daddy Werner signing in here for the first time. My first Blog. Thanks for setting this up Josh.

Hope all are well up north in Indy, Muncie & Laffeyette with this winter storm!! Audrey and Victor didn't even have a delay this morning so not much to share about the weather down here in DC.

Allie is on the recovering edge of a small bout with the flue. She had a fever for two days so we took her to Dr. Bies...he did a swab test from saliva and determined instantly that she had the flue! Pretty amazing isn't it? She was prescribed some meds and everything has gotten better since.

Also, Dad had his first experience with a kidney stone this week. Foturnately it wasn't all that painful, just a little discomforting. So Allie and Dad both went to the doctor this week, but both are doing just fine...hope to see you all soon.

Megan & Josh - just wait for your 20 week ultrasound...it will be awesome!

Tadpole Betz

I think Tadpole Blueberry is going be the name of our child (boy or girl).
We are at 8 weeks and the little thing is growing so fast.(tadpole)
It has almost doulbled in size since last week.(Blueberry) We are so proud.
Our baby is going to go on his first vacation.
On Feb. 11 we are going to Florida with Rusty and his girlfriend Christie.
We thought we get out and get some sun before megan shows to much.
Plus we need a tan.
